God

We believe in one eternal God as Creator, Redeemer and Ruler of the universe.

We believe in the Trinity as God reveals Himself eternally as Father, Son and Holy Spirit; each with distinct personal attributes, but one in essence, nature and being.

Jesus

We believe Jesus Christ is the only Son of God, and while he is eternally God, He is also Emmanuel (God with us).  He was born of a virgin without original sin and lived among men as a man without sin – as the God/man – 100% God/ 100% man.

We believe He died on the cross as the perfect Lamb of God; that He was buried and rose again on the 3rd day to atone for the sins of those who would bow the knee and call Him Lord.

The Bible

We believe the Bible to be the inerrant Word of God, divinely inspired by God the Father, working through the power of the Holy Spirit and the agency of man to reveal himself in all His glory to His fallen creation so that man might be redeemed by the blood of Christ.

Salvation

As outlined in Ephesians 2:1-10 and other New Testament and Old Testament passages, we believe in the total depravity of man. Man’s relationship with God was severed because of our sin and man can only be restored (or saved) to right relationship with God out of God’s love and by His grace through faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

We believe salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone and not the result of works or man’s own efforts to please God.  It is the gift of God’s grace that provides the eternal security of the believer.

Then after salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone; as an act of gratitude, thanksgiving and worship, we should seek to walk with God and serve Him all the days of our lives.

Lord’s Supper

We believe the Lord’s Supper to be an act of worship as we memorialize Jesus’ sacrifice for our sins.  The bread and the fruit of the vine serve to remind us that Jesus bled and died for our sins on Calvary. 

Followers of Christ, (those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior) are to do this often as a reminder of the price Jesus, the Son of God, paid for our sins.

Baptism

We believe in believer’s baptism by immersion as a testimony of our salvation, an act of obedience to God, and as an act of worship as we identify with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection.
