Focus on the Family

Since Focus on the Family’s primary reason for existence is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through a practical outreach to homes, we have firm beliefs about both the Christian faith and the importance of the family. This ministry is therefore based upon six guiding philosophies that are apparent at every level throughout the organization. These “pillars” are drawn from the wisdom of the Bible and the Judeo-Christian ethic, rather than from the humanistic notions of today’s theorists. In short, Focus on the Family is a reflection of what we believe to be the recommendations of the Creator Himself, who ordained the family and gave it His blessing.

Desiring God

Most people in the world have no experience of deep and abiding joy. Even though it is something we all desperately long for, the assurance that true happiness can be known — fully and forever — is a hope that billions of people live every day without. This is a tragedy.

Desiring God is on a mission to change that.

We aim to help people everywhere embrace a profound truth that changes everything about life and eternity:

You were created for something greater than yourself. You were formed for something awesome and magnificent. You were made to know glory — God’s glory. And the deepest longings of the human heart can be fully satisfied by pursuing that glory. In fact, God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in him. We call this truth Christian Hedonism. And declaring it to the world is why we exist.

First Baptist Church of St. Peters

FBC Saint Peters is a community of believers in Jesus Christ.

They exist because they believe the Church is God’s big plan for global transformation. He is rescuing sinners, regenerating dead hearts, and restoring broken relationships. He’s teaching us to love. He’s teaching us to rejoice. He’s teaching us to persevere. And He’s doing all this in the context of community.

As one local gathering of Jesus’s global body, they aim to be a faithful church centered on the gospel, grounded on the Word of God, engaged in the mission of God, and aiming for the glory of God in all things. Join us in seeing and savoring Jesus Christ.
